For the Year of the Horse, Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) has teamed up with global art toy powerhouse POP MART for the brand’s first-ever resort-wide activation.
Instead of confining everything to a single venue, the collaboration transforms the entire resort into an immersive, walkable “spot-the-character” adventure, featuring 12 larger-than-life installations and an exclusive pop-up store scattered across different zones.
At the heart of the experience is the Golden Gallop Series, where fan-favourite POP MART characters are reimagined with festive, zodiac-inspired details—then scaled up into bold, photo-ready installations. You’ll find them dotted throughout the resort, including areas like WEAVE and the Singapore Oceanarium, turning a casual stroll into a playful discovery trail rather than a typical “enter → see → exit” event.
Expect familiar faces such as LABUBU, Baby Molly, SKULLPANDA, DIMOO, Hirono, Twinkle Twinkle, PUCKY, HACIPUPU, alongside CHAKA, Zsiga, Nyota, and Tinytiny—each styled to reflect the bright, forward-moving energy associated with the Year of the Horse.
But this isn’t just about photo spots. RWS is also hosting a POP MART Passport Stamp Rally, which adds a game-like layer to the experience. Pick up a “passport,” hunt down the character installations, collect stamps at nearby stations, and redeem a reward once you’ve hit the target.

How it works (quick and painless):
– Collect a POP MART Passport at the WEAVE (Level 1) redemption booths
– Find the character installations around the resort and stamp along the way
– Collect 10 or more stamps to redeem an exclusive sticker sheet set back at WEAVE
The activation runs from 16 January to 25 March 2026.

Our tips for maximum payoff with minimum wandering:
Start at WEAVE
Grab your passport first—you’ll end up looping back anyway to redeem your stickers. It also works as a natural “reset point” between photo zones.
Treat it like a scavenger hunt, not a checklist
The fun is in the surprise. Turn it into a game (“first character spotted wins snack privileges”) and suddenly everyone’s competitive—yes, even adults.
Time your photos
Some installations reportedly glow at night, so transitioning from late afternoon to evening allows you to capture both bright daytime shots and moodier nighttime visuals in one visit.
Save the pop-up store for last
Once you start shopping, you’ll be carrying bags—and your willpower is strongest before you’ve been surrounded by adorable characters for two hours.
POP MART’s core appeal has always been about surprise and discovery (hello, blind boxes), and this activation brings that feeling into real life. You’re not just opening something—you’re walking through it. RWS has also hinted that this is the first wave of a broader 2026 collaboration, suggesting more limited-time concepts could roll out later in the year.
It’s one of those rare pop-culture events that truly spans generations: kids will love the giant characters, teens will chase the perfect post, and collectors will quietly calculate what they “need” from the pop-up. You don’t have to be deep into art toys to enjoy it—you just have to be okay with stopping every few minutes for photos.
