7. Gardens by the Bay’s Chrysanthemum Charm

This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival adopts the theme “Garden of Blooms” (花缘), a tribute to the profound bonds among people and the joyful reunions shared with family and friends. Enveloping the lush Gardens are vibrant lanterns that draw inspiration from the intricate tapestry of Chinese mythology, legends, and cultures.

Step into the Flower Dome to explore the “Chrysanthemum Charm” floral display, which draws inspiration from vast grasslands reminiscent of Mongolia’s steppes. This exhibit showcases around 80 diverse chrysanthemum varieties, including more than 10 new varieties making their debut in Southeast Asia. Additionally, anticipate encountering a life-sized, meticulously-crafted Mongolian yurt, with its interior faithfully recreated to offer a glimpse into the traditional nomadic lifestyle still practised by Mongolians today!
