Get ready to pump up your creative vibes at a more vibrant and expansive edition of ARTBOX 2025 this year!
The largest creative festival in Asia will take place at Singapore Expo Hall 4 over two weekends, January 17 to 19 and 24 to 26, 2025!
This festival will feature a brand-new concept, ARTBOX EVERYDAY, aimed at elevating your everyday experiences with extraordinary art through over 600 brands across Asia from Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. This marks a 50% increase in vendors, offering a wider selection of food, beverages, and retail products. With over 90 food and beverage outlets (offering cold brew, espresso beer, and freshly dispensed draft beer from Chang Beer) and 196 retail stores, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
This year’s ARTBOX goes beyond just a consumer experience. It’s launching an inaugural Trade Day, connecting local businesses, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders. This Business-to-Business (B2B) focus strengthens ARTBOX’s commitment to supporting local players and fosters collaboration within the creative community. As part of Trade Day, there will be a series of insightful keynote speeches from industry leaders, including Adrian Ang (SGAG), David Chua (National Youth Council), Jonathan Chua (GRVTY), and Clarence Chan (Bandwagon), that focus on two key topics namely on ‘Shaping the Future of Creative Industries’ and ‘Empowering the Next Generation in Creative Economy’.
There will be a few new segments this year. One is the ARTBOX Express, consisting of a mobile gallery bus that transforms everyday spaces into interactive art experiences, bringing art directly to the public in line with Singapore’s National Arts Plan. The mobile gallery bus service will commence from SCAPE for just S$0.50 (for ticket holders). At each bus stop along the journey, you will experience captivating street performances and immersive art installations specially curated by PHUNK Collective.
Singapore’s heartland neighbourhoods inspire ARTBOX Estate. This central hub will be the festival’s heart, offering a sense of community and belonging. The centrepiece of the ARTBOX Estate is the Hero Structure, a unique installation resembling stacked shipping containers designed to mimic houses. The communal void deck creates a welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of a neighbourhood gathering place. Located within the Hero Structure, the ARTBOX Convenience Store offers a curated selection of exclusive, artist-designed products. At the top of the Hero Structure, is the ARTBOX Lounge, which is curated as a dedicated space for creative economy professionals to network and connect with like-minded individuals (EVERYDAY pass holders can also enjoy access to this exclusive lounge).
Adjacent to the Hero Structure, the Void Deck offers a lively communal space with immersive activities, from open mic sessions powered by Teo Heng to live music performances from local bands. If you prefer a more mentally stimulating activity, the Aliwal Chess Club hosts chess games nearby. Parents fret not as there are many educational children activities lined up for your little ones, including Speech and Drama classes and T-shirt Doodling sessions. Rejoice, fans of The Arcade People (TAP)! Because they will be returning to help you relive the golden age of arcade games, through a selection of classic arcade machines. In this immersive gaming arena, attendees challenge themselves in daily gaming competitions and stand a chance to win exciting prizes. With so much to see and do, ARTBOX offers a unique experience that will keep you well-occupied over the two weekends.
For the first time at ARTBOX, attendees can win an electric vehicle valued at over SS90,000. This exciting giveaway is made possible by the partnership with Volt Auto Pte. Ltd, reflecting their commitment to sustainability and innovation.
Tickets cost S$5 to S$8, and ARTBOX Express offers complimentary rides between SCAPE and the Singapore Expo.
