Style, savor, and a spark of mischief this weekend.

1. Beyond The Vines Opens at Marina Bay Sands
Step out of the mall’s mirrored corridors and into Beyond The Vines (BTV)’s world, where a plush 100% New Zealand wool carpet in unmistakable BTV blue meets clean polycarbonate-and-aluminium arches—and at the centre, a striking custom orange spiral column showcases best-selling bags like rotating gallery pieces. In just 800 square feet, every inch is maximised: pull open walls of drawers to discover accessories arranged with librarian precision, stop by the BTV-TO-GO Phone Strap bar for a hands-free setup that matches your outfit, or browse tees cut exactly the way you wish all basics were cut.
The headline here is the new Studio Series: reversible totes in two sizes, designed with understated, grown-up detailing—magnetic closures that work from both sides, embossed logos instead of loud patches, and mixed recycled materials that feel sturdier than “eco” usually implies. The small tote is your daily commuter that still fits a water bottle; the large, a weekender that slides neatly under a plane seat. Colours aren’t literal—Navy/Black reads like midnight ink, Olive/Teal is forest-at-dusk, and Terracotta/Plum carries a warm, city-in-autumn mood.
Beyond The Vines Design Post, Marina Bay Sands Singapore is located at 10 Bayfront Ave, B2-92 The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore 018956.

2. UNIQLO Orchard Central Flagship Store is Back
More than just a refreshed space, the UNIQLO Orchard Central flagship reflects the brand’s commitment to customer-centricity, delivering an enhanced shopping experience—from improved store layouts and intuitive product discovery to upgraded fitting rooms.
The reopening also celebrates the local community, featuring a specially curated City Guide highlighting homegrown brands. And it’s not just about the playful Mickey Mouse T-shirts—fans can also collect the adorable plaid Mickey Mouse plushes!
UNIQLO Orchard Central Flagship is located at 181 Orchard Rd, #01-01-04/23-25, #02-02-06/26-33/K1-K5, #03-02-05/27-33/K1, K2 Orchard Central Singapore 238896.

3. Levi’s x Disney Pixar Celebrate Toy Story’s 30th with Limited Capsule Collection
Toy Story turns 30, and Levi’s® is throwing a denim-forward party that understands why these films stuck: friendship, frontier grit, and a touch of mischief. The Type III Trucker looks like it survived a road trip and came back cooler—patch-and-repair surfaces, printed pocketing peeking out, and a full-back Woody graphic with a “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” stitch that feels like a private in-joke. The Western Shacket zips instead of snaps, landing somewhere between chore coat and street jacket, which makes it dangerously wearable in Singapore’s air-con life.
Bottoms keep the Easter eggs coming—Andy’s handwriting on pocket bags, Saddleman artwork hidden like collector’s stamps, reinforced stress points that can actually take daily wear. Women’s pieces are where the rodeo sings: the Type II Jacket in rinse indigo has “Yodelayheehoo” chain stitching and an ecru collar that frames the face; the Ribcage Bell adds smile pockets and a cheeky cow-print waistband that peeks out just enough when you tuck. Accessories complete the cosplay-without-costume brief—bandanas in character colours, a denim tote trimmed like a vintage grain sack, and a logo cap with that Pixar ball clasp that’s bound to sell out first. If you want sizes, please arrive early on launch day (October 4). If you want styling ideas, people-watch outside the store for ten minutes and steal a look or two.
Launching on 4 October, the Levi’s® x Toy Story 30th Anniversary collection will be available exclusively at Levi’s® ION Orchard and online.
Levi’s ION Orchard is located at 2 Orchard Turn, B2-23/24, Singapore 238801.

4. SCCC & SCO’s Mid-Autumn Family FUN Returns Bigger Than Ever
Returning for a weekend from 4 to 5 October 2025, Mid-Autumn Family FUN 2025 (MAFF 2025) promises the most extensive line-up of programmes since its launch in 2023, featuring 27 diverse activities across the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre (SCCC) and Singapore Conference Hall.
A standout attraction this year is Moongazing with Monday Bruce, an art installation at SCCC’s Roof Garden. Visitors can admire five giant illuminated inflatables of Monday Bruce, the beloved rabbit from a popular collectible blind box series. The installation will be on display from now to 30 November 2025, daily from 10am to 10pm.
Music also takes centre stage with SCO’s Ancient Moon, Present Light concert, where children under six can, for the first time, enjoy an enchanting evening of moonlit tunes. Led by Associate Conductor Moses Gay, the concert features familiar festive pieces that introduce young audiences and their families to the magic of Chinese orchestral music.
Families can also enjoy a host of interactive experiences, from Parent-Child Workshops that explore soap-making, tea-whisking, and scented pouch crafting, to Rabbit’s Brew House, an experiential tea house offering mooncake and tea tastings alongside crosstalk performances, hanfu dances, and hands-on crafts such as lantern- and Chinese knot-making. Play It Chill on SCCC’s Level 1 Concourse rounds out the fun with free performances for all ages, including drumming acts, storytelling, poetry recitals, lantern riddles, and fan painting.
To encourage exploration, visitors can participate in a festival-wide bingo game, collecting stamps at various activities—from performances to workshops and character hunts—to redeem exclusive prizes such as silkscreen-printed tote bags in partnership with STPI and Munchi pancakes.
MAFF 2025 is open to the public, with a mix of free and ticketed programmes.

5. West The Sale 2025 Returns to IMM and Westgate
From October 1 to 5, 2025, the west side becomes an obstacle course of markdowns with bragging rights attached. IMM’s outlet density means you can work the big international names in a single sweep—COACH, Michael Kors, Hugo Boss, Fossil, Swarovski, Oakley—then circle back for second looks once you’ve calibrated pricing. The discounts reach that attention-grabbing “up to 90%” territory, but the real wins are often the mid-tier reductions on current-season stragglers or last season’s sleeper hits. Westgate brings a more mixed spread, so it’s your second lap after locking down outlet steals.
Do the boring-but-smart bits and you’ll save more: preload the CapitaStar app, key in the code (SHOPWEST) ahead of time, and know your spend-and-get thresholds so you don’t overbuy by accident. Time your mall hop between late morning and mid-afternoon to avoid the evening rush, and wear a light layer—you’ll be pivoting between outdoor humidity and cold stores. If you’re shopping with kids, consider taking tag-team breaks with snacks and water. If you’re shopping with friends, make a pact to text sizes and photos to a group chat so you can split up and reconvene at the registers like pros. The most underrated move? Bring one tote you already love. If a new bag doesn’t beat it, it stays on the shelf.
IMM is located at 2 Jurong East Street 21, Singapore 609601, while Westgate is located at 3 Gateway Dr, Singapore 608532.

7. All-Pasta Tasting Menu Debut at Osteria Mozza Singapore
Twelve seats, one gleaming marble counter, and the soft clatter of a crew who’ve folded more pasta than you’ve had cappuccinos—welcome to Osteria Mozza, where the S$88++ pasta tasting plays like a mixtape of shapes, textures, and subtlety.
The Fonduta Ravioli is the track you hit repeat on: molten richness lifted by brown butter, sage, and a delicate halo of aged balsamic. Mafaldine all’Amatriciana is a love letter to three humble ingredients—tomatoes, guanciale, and pecorino—that somehow deliver a knockout punch. Maltagliati with duck ragù brings mellow depth, while orecchiette with fennel sausage snaps you to attention. A lemon posset resets the palate with superb, citrus clarity.
The menu evolves with the seasons, so expect winter truffles later in the year and little surprises in between. Pasta is rolled fresh from 5 a.m., and you can taste the difference: al dente with perfect snap, sauces that cling without drowning.
Bookings are essential—twelve seats vanish fast—and the wine pairing lineup sparks conversation more than lecture.
Osteria Mozza is located at 333 Orchard Rd, Level 5, Singapore 238867.
8. Neon Pigeon’s S$10 Snack Attack
Riding the high of its 10th anniversary, 50 Best Discovery Bar Neon Pigeon adds even more fun with its new Snack Series, crafted to satisfy both your playful side and your appetite.
The menu is a mini circus: a Nutella cocktail served in a Nutella-inspired jar—dessert in spirit, aperitif in style; hot udon in an instant-cup cameo, nodding to convenience culture while delivering real texture; and ramen “nachos” in a MAMEE-esque packet that crunches like childhood memories before hitting the umami notes of adulthood.
Each visit lets you try one snack for S$10++—just enough to experiment, never enough to regret.
Neon Pigeon is located at 36 Carpenter St, #01-01, Singapore 059915.

9. KFC Debuts First-ever Lil’ Bucket Meals
Mealtime and playtime get a fun upgrade at KFC with the new Lil’ Bucket Meals, perfectly sized for little hands.
What’s inside a Lil’ Bucket?
– For breakfast, choose from the Lil’ Chicken Macaroni Soup or Lil’ Eggy Twister, served with 100% fresh apple juice or a drink of your choice. – – – During the day, enjoy the Lil’ Tenders Twister Meal, Lil’ Chicken Meal, or Lil’ Tenders Meal, all complete with coleslaw and sides.
The point isn’t just portioning; it’s play. The reusable bucket becomes a drum at the table, a crown on the way out, a spaceship once you’re home.
Besides these, nine family-friendly outlets are also transforming into bite-sized libraries, featuring NLB eReads screens and QR codes that unlock age-appropriate books, with small rewards to make reading feel like a treat rather than a task.

10. McDonald’s Launches All-New Shoyu Mayo Samurai Burger
The Samurai returns to McDonald’s with a bold new move: shoyu mayo—salty-sweet depth meets creamy glide. On beef, it elevates the teriyaki glaze into something you truly taste from the first bite; on chicken, it transforms tender into indulgent. Add a fried egg, and the Tamago version becomes the ultimate choice for anyone who believes “more” is a food group.
Sides get in on the action, too! Seaweed McShake Fries bring the shake-the-bag ritual, while Oishii Pepper Drumlets deliver a peppery, just-greasy-enough finish. Dessert is a choose-your-own-matcha adventure—twist cone for nostalgia, sundae with strawberry or chocolate for drama, and Oreo McFlurry for crunch lovers.
