6. Old Hill Street Police Station
The former Hill Street Police Station sits at the corner of Hill Street and River Valley Road, bringing a rainbow of joy to those walking or driving towards Clarke Quay and the Singapore River. Built-in 1934, it was not only a police station but also the home of many officers and their families. Today, the grand six-storey, louvre-windowed building serves the Ministry of Communications and Information (MCI), and the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY).
