6. IPPUDO’s Seasonal Yokohama Iekei Ramen
IPPUDO Singapore is bringing us the seasonal Yokohama Iekei Ramen for a limited time, while stocks last only.
IPPUDO’s version follows the most well-loved proportions with a delicate balance of all three factors. The medium-thick noodles with a springy texture are immersed in a rich base of Shoyu, IPPUDO’s Signature creamy Tonkotsu (Pork Bone) broth and the rich, milky white Tori Paitan (Chicken Bone) broth. With a thick consistency, the unctuous soup packs a delightful umami flavour and is rich with collagen. The toppings include pork belly, as well as pork loin chashu, spinach and homemade seasoned tamago. The spicy white leek marinated with a homemade blend of spicy seasoning brings the broth to life with a touch of fiery heat. Mix it well with the soup — the ramen dish becomes highly reminiscent of IPPUDO’s famous Akamaru Motoaji.
