Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFF) is celebrating Asia’s culture and heritage at the Design Orchard Heritage Festival. Through a specially curated selection of locally-based brands, and an exciting line-up of activities, talks, and workshops. The festival is currently ongoing and will culminate on 31 August.
Upcoming activities include “Sidecar Heritage Tour + EcoBatik Beeswax Wraps Workshop” and “A talk by seasoned textile collector Daniel Tendean“.
Over the course of the festival, 27 brands will be joining the Design Orchard line-up, showcasing the best of Singaporean design. These range from fashion and accessories to home and lifestyle labels. Featured brands include Eden+Elie, an artisanal jewellery brand that uses traditional weaving techniques. There is also Anmako, a textile-focused brand featuring handcrafted batik.
