9. Washed Ashore, Upcycling Exhibit at NEX
Running from now to 27 March 2022, Washed Ashore exhibition showcases colourful animal sculptures such as the lion, shark, octopus and turtle, made from upcycled flip-flops that washed up from oceans. When discarded improperly, this familiar household item pollutes our waters. By upcycling them into inspiring art, the exhibit raises awareness of the importance of conserving our natural resources.
Visit the free exhibition at the NEX atrium to learn more and inspire their little ones through colourful and edutaining art pieces. There’s also a social contest on Facebook for them to join, with S$100 LEGO vouchers up for grabs.
