Absinthe

Da Paolo Gastronomia
Christmas items and gourmet food hampers are available at Da Paolo Gastronomia from Nov 1. Be sure to try the lavish Boneless Sous-Vide Cooked Turkey stuffed with Cotecchino, Porchetta and Duck Leg Confit ($278, serves ten to 12 people) and their classic Three Logs Cake ($89) that comes in chocolate hazelnut, caramel cream and Valrhona chocolate.

Boathouse
Boathouse presents a four-course Christmas Set Dinner ($98) from Dec 16 to 25. It prominently features wintry luxuries such as Smoked Salmon Parfait encased in a tart, Foie Gras Vol Au Vent, Slow Roasted Turkey Roulade with Chestnut Stuffing, and the decadent Hazelnut Praline Log Cake. Each course is also available as an a la carte order.

Mandarin Oriental
From log cakes, cookies, macarons and Traditional Dresdner Christstollen, Mandarin Oriental has something for your sweet tooth. We especially like the Mango Buche Noel ($70 for 1kg), a layered tropical version of the standard cream log cake. Other delights such as ham and turkey and foie gras are also available.

Goodwood Park Hotel
Putting a local twist on Christmas, Goodwood Park Hotel offers the Local Christmas Combo ($250) comprising a Rock Salt Baked Turkey with vegetable rice, ginger and chilli, Turkey Ngoh Hiang, D24 Durian Christmas Log Cake and Decorate-Your-Own Gingerbread house.
We also like their Blonde Chocolate Florentine Log Cake ($68) for a sweet finish.
