Hailing from and known in China as 云海肴 (pronounced as “Yunhaiyao”), YUN NANS is the largest Yunnan F&B chain in the world. It does not matter if you only have 4 or 8 pax in your family as the restaurant will be doling out six Chinese New Year set menus catering from 4 to 8 pax (S$298++ to S$838++), and they will be available from 1 February to 28 February 2021.
The CNY menu mainstays will collectively feature premium ingredients imported from the Yunnan province. The wild morel used for the YUN NANS Prosperity Treasure Hot Pot touted as the king of edible mushrooms, is a delicacy, costing more than S$800 per kg. Other highlights imported from Yunnan include specially preserved chillis, black truffles, wild porcini mushrooms and garlic. All of these ingredients lend a complex depth of flavour to the dishes.
