In celebration of Hashida’s 10th Anniversary in Singapore, Chef Kenjiro Hashida has chosen to showcase Singaporean and Japanese cultures through his creative take on the Geppei which is filled with delicate and nuanced flavours from his hometown and wrapped in a traditional Chinese glutinous rice skin. His restaurant unveils two exclusive flavours of mooncakes (S$92/box of 8 pieces), sealed with the Hashida family crest, as a representation of family, unity and culinary heritage.
The two flavours include:
– Sakura Blossom: Sakura flower petals blended with smooth Japanese white bean paste and paired with a luscious, sweet gooseberry jam.
– Lemon Nasu: Refreshing fresh lemons infused with velvety Japanese eggplants, elevating the delightful flavours of Shiro-An, Japanese white bean paste, paired with honey and lemon peel.
