Shark Meow Takes Over: Mofusand Lands At Sushi Tei Singapore

Singapore’s dining scene is about to be pawsitively overrun—by cats in shark suits.

From 5 November 2025, Sushi Tei’s Raffles City outlet transforms into Singapore’s first-ever Mofusand-themed restaurant, where the beloved Shark Meow takes over the décor, tableware, and even your drinks.

Think photo-ready corners, collectible coasters, and a gleeful sense of play that trails you from entrance to dessert. And the fun won’t stop there—between 12 November 2025 and 5 January 2026, all 13 other Sushi Tei outlets islandwide will join the celebration with limited-time menu items and meow-gnificent gifts-with-purchase.

A Menu Made for Mofusand Fans

Sushi Tei isn’t just draping its spaces in cuteness—it’s crafting a menu that blends comfort, craft, and a dash of celebration-day sparkle.

Tochigi Wagyu Steak (S$38.80++)
Pan-fried A4 Tochigi striploin with a signature house sauce. Silky, buttery, and quietly show-offy—the kind of steak that silences a table. Tochigi’s wagyu herds are raised by certified producers, and you taste that pedigree in every bite.

Mount Temari (S$10.80++)
Petite sushi spheres—salmon, prawn, tuna, and squid—like edible baubles. In Japan, temari balls are festive keepsakes; here, they’re bite-sized treasures that practically caption themselves.

Deluxe Barachirashi Don (S$20.80++)
A riot of premium seafood—golden eye snapper, snow crab leg, salmon sashimi—piled on pillowy sushi rice. Textural, generous, and built for that all-in-one, everything bite.

Cheesy Corn Tori Yaki (S$11.80++)
A hotplate hug of grilled chicken, melty mozzarella, and sweet corn pops. Great for sharing—but even better for not sharing.

Houjicha Harmony (S$6.80++)
Roasted green tea ice cream with red bean, topped with a tiny cone “hat.” If your camera didn’t eat first, did you even go?

Collab Drinks with Collectible Coasters

Each limited-time drink arrives with an exclusive Mofusand coaster to take home:
– Kappa Breeze (S$6.80++) – White grape and lime with cucumber: your spa-day-in-a-glass.
– Watermelon Sunset (S$6.80++) – Orange and watermelon meet white grape; made for unbuttoned evenings.
– Emerald Sunrise (S$6.80++, Raffles City exclusive) – White grape, orange, and blue lagoon: a sunrise you can sip.

The Raffles City Flagship: Ground Zero for Shark Meow

This is the one fans will want to hit first. The Raffles City flagship gets the complete Shark Meow treatment — immersive décor, themed serveware, and every photo opportunity you could dream of. It’s also where you’ll find the earliest merch drops and exclusive goodies.

How to Get Your Paws on the Merch

Sushi Tei is rolling out limited-edition Mofusand collectibles, with new designs dropping every Wednesday (about 75–150 pieces per outlet). Translation: go midweek if you’re serious about scoring.
