Nothing beats perfectly seasoned homemade pan-fried beef rice noodles!
Ingredients
Serves 6 people
- 800 g flat rice noodle
Soaked until slightly softened
- 250 g beef ribeye steak
Sliced thinly
- 5 pcs baby corn
Sliced diagonally
- 60 g kai lan
Chinese broccoli, cut in 2-inch lengths
- 60 g straw mushrooms
Halved
- 3 large red chilies
Sliced
- 30 g holy basil
- 5 cloves garlic
- ¼ tsp ginger
Grated
- 2 shallots
Sliced
- 4 chili padi (bird's eye chili)
Sliced
- 1 ½ tsp palm sugar
- 2 Tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp cooking caramel
Substitute with kecap manis(sweet soy sauce)
- 1 Tbsp + 2 tsp oyster sauce
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp + 1 tsp vegetable oil
