5. Wo Wo Dian (窝窝店 百年包子)

Wo Dian (窝窝店 百年包子), a renowned steamed bun and rice noodle specialist with a rich 130-year history has finally made its debut in Singapore. Their time-honoured bun-making process has been recognized as an intangible cultural heritage in Mianyang City. The brand’s first-ever store in the city is located at Raffles City Shopping Centre, bringing authentic Cantonese cuisine to the heart of Singapore.

Wo Wo Dian’s handmade steamed buns are truly exceptional due to their unique preparation method. The brand uses laomian, a traditional sourdough made from organic flour and fermented starter. This technique gives the buns a deep flavour and a distinctive texture, making them the perfect vessel for various fillings. Must-try buns include the Century-Old Traditional Pork Bun (S$8.90 ++) and Century-Old Traditional Sauced Pork Bun (S$7.90 ++),

Beyond the exceptional ingredients, Wo Wo Dian also utilised unique, time-honoured cooking techniques to create delicious dishes like Boiled Pork Belly with Spicy Sauce ($25.90++), kung pao eggplant with Fragrant Shrimp Balls ($22.90++), and more.

Wo Wo Dian is located at #B1-13/14/15 Raffles City, Singapore 179103.
