2. Tempura Makino
Tempura Makino, a popular tempura speciality chain from Japan, will be launching the first outpost outside of Japan in Singapore.
It is a speciality restaurant known for its delicious, handcrafted tempura made to order in front of guests. Customers can enjoy freshly prepared seasonal dishes and ingredients served in a comfortable yet elegant environment. Thus making these high quality, handcrafted tempura being enjoyed by all.
The a la carte tempura items are all reasonably priced from S$1.50 per piece. Other than the contemporary tempura options, the menu includes Okinawan influences such as the Goya Tempura with Okinawan salt and Mozuku Tempura. There are also Daikon Oden, Mentai Seaweed and Uni Ohba dishes to be enjoyed.
Tempura Makino in Singapore will also be launching tempura omakase menus. Priced below S$100 in the coming months. These items will feature seasonal specials and premium ingredients, all while being made accessible to Singaporean palates.
