Move over Gong Cha and KOI, it's time for new faves
There's never really been a lull in the Singapore bubble tea mania, but we are definitely experiencing an explosion in the game recently. Lots of new players from Taiwan (the land of bubble tea we give daily thanks to) have entered our market while more are on their way, and even a local team has set up a store. We have compiled seven must-try, already highly lauded new bubble tea brands you need to hit up during your next bubble tea run.
6. Milksha (opening end June 2019)
Ranked the #1 bubble tea brand by the Taiwanese themselves, Milksha (迷客夏) can’t come to Singapore soon enough. And we have two outlets (at Suntec City and the new Funan) to look forward to come end June. Although they are known by a slightly different English name (Milkshop) in Taiwan, we can expect the same top quality here as in Taiwan. Their bubble teas use only 100% fresh milk, all-natural ingredients and honey pearls, which are made fresh in Taiwan and then air-flown to Singapore. We can’t wait to try the Azuki Matcha Milk, Fresh Taro Milk and the rich Valrhona 100% Cocoa Milk.
