Hundreds – or even thousands – of bubble tea stalls line the metro with unique flavours and sometimes questionable concoctions. Whether or not you’re a fan of this milky delight, it’s definitely worth trying when you’re in Taiwan! Many Taiwan bubble tea brands have come to Singapore, but if you love them here, even more reason to discover how they taste like at the place where they were first created and gained popularity.
As both locals and tourists are spoilt for choice when in comes to bubble tea in Taipei, we’ve narrowed it down to their 10 best milk tea shops for the ultimate bubble tea experience! Check out our list.
1. Chun Shui Tang
Legend has it that Chun Shui Tang was the first to invent our beloved bubble tea. That said, it’s practically a sin not to drop by one of its 90 branches and get a sip of this creamy delight! Although they’ve definitely expanded their milk tea options since then, we still highly recommend you try the Original Pearl Milk Tea first! However, since it’s become quite the tourist attraction, get ready to wait at least 20 minutes for your drink (it’s worth it, we promise)!
