Newly-opened Revolution Coffee presents a tempting brunch menu

People living in the West now have a new place to get their coffee fix, in the newly-constructed Infinite Studios at the Mediapolis.
Revolution Coffee brings in single-origin roaster beans that are air flown from Sydney, twice a month.
If you are a coffee connoisseur, you’ll love their special house blend of beans from three estates: Teka Burundi, Yirgacheffe Ethiopia and Conquistador Costa Rica. If you miss the now defunct Wok & Barrel, don’t fret, Chef Shen Tan lends her vision to Revolution Coffee with a delectable menu.
Brunch Away
If you love your pancakes piled high, try Revolution Coffee’s range of pancakes. We especially like the traditional Pancakes with Gula Melaka Butterscotch and Bananas ($11.90). The bittersweet butterscotch complements the soft pancakes very well. They also have Pancakes with Berry Compote and Crème Chantilly ($12.90) should you want a tarter accoutrement.
The traditional egg breakfast is also available; the Big Brunch Breakfast ($16.90) comes with two eggs (scrambled, sunny side up or soft boiled), bacon, sausage or ham, tomato confit, mushrooms or caramelised onions, and sourdough toast.
Afternoon Bites
Revolution Coffee also makes a mean Grilled Low Fat Chicken Satay Breast Salad ($8), which comprises grilled chicken with ketupat, greens, tomatoes and satay sauce. It is a fantastic East-meets-West salad option for lunch.
Carb lovers, you aren’t forgotten. Try their Pasta Amatriciana ($9.50), which is spaghetti tossed in tomato-based sauce with bacon, chilli and basil.
They also serve a large array of sandwiches such as the Classic BLT Reworked ($8) and a vegetarian-friendly Grilled Aubergines Sandwich ($8).
Artisanal and Fresh
“A lot of the food is made by hand; it is artisanal and fresh,” says Chef Shen. The popular freshly-baked banana bread, which is sold out almost every day, is served with homemade yoghurt.
The house yoghurt is also used in their Bircher Muesli dish.
The minimalist space is also great for chilling out. Ajie Permana, the owner of Revolution Coffee says, “Weekend brunch at Revolution Coffee is all about relaxing over a great meal, having an amazing cup of coffee and spending time with friends and family.”
