It's quite an international one, too; true to its location right next to one of the world's busiest airports, the newly opened lifestyle hub brings in popular restaurants and cafes from the East and West, many for their debut in Singapore. From the famous burgers of Shake Shack to Chinese comfort food at Yun Nans, Jewel has something for all palates. The following eateries are attracting some of the longest queues in Jewel, and as any true Singaporean knows, queues lead you to good food. Get your shopping done at the no less excellent retail side of Jewel, then sit back and fuel up at these food places.
7. Yun Nans (#02-217)
This popular restaurant, better known as Yun Hai Yao (云海肴) in China, opens its first outlet outside of China in Singapore, at Jewel! Savour the nourishing meals made with fresh and healthy ingredients from the tropical highlands of Yunnan. A must-try dish is the Steamed Pot Chicken Soup, in which the unique technique of pressure-steaming over three hours helps to bring out the chicken’s full, natural flavours. We are also impressed by the new dishes created specially and exclusively for the Singapore outlet, inspired by local favourites. If you love prawn noodles, we think you’d love the Yunnan Rice Noodles in Prawn Broth with Black Truffle, made using all-natural rice noodles.
