7. Folklore (Enjoy the food!)

We daresay there isn’t any restaurant that is all-encompassing as Folklore when it comes to representing the different types of cuisines in multi-faceted Singapore. The heritage restaurant is set to offer dishes ( $30 for two pax for weekday lunch) that represent various ethnic groups, namely Chinese, Malay, Indian, Peranakan and Eurasian in weekly rotation through the entire month of August. Kicking off the month of feasting is Braised Pork Trotters with Mooi Choy, before moving to Nasi Minyak with Lamb Rendang and Sayer Lodeh, then Dry Goat Curry with Briyani and Dhalchan, then Nasi Ulam and concluding with Eurasian Birthday Noodles on the last week.
