5. WAKANUI Grill Dining
From 17 to 19 June, whet your appetite with a 5-course meat-lover’s menu (S$258++ for 2) curated by Executive Chef Kenyoshi Ryohei at WAKANUI Grill Dining.
The decadent meal begins with some Japanese Springtime ingredients like Jerusalem Artichoke and Annou Potato and Cheese Espuma. The next two courses bring you into the depths of the ocean with Smoked Octopus Terrine with Red Shiso Puree, and a warm, soothing bowl of Grilled Scallop with Asparagus Foam with uni mayonnaise, and topped with fresh edible flowers.
The star of the show is a choice of some of WAKANUI’s finest New Zealand meat cuts like Ocean Beef Ribeye, Canterbury Grass-fed Fillet, or WAKANUI Spring Lamb Rack. The meats are simply seasoned with salt and pepper, then grilled to perfection over binchotan charcoal, giving them their signature smoky aroma that is distinct to WAKANUI.
End the meal on a sweet note with New Zealand dessert, Hokey Pokey – a vanilla-based ice cream that is lightly mixed with toasty caramel, and topped with fun crunchy pops of honeycomb – a delightfully sweet ending.
