Meet The Disgruntled Brasserie, the younger sibling of casual fine dining establishment The Disgruntled Chef.

This new concept is decidedly relaxing, with a menu that encourages communal-style dining with small and large plates.

The setting too, evokes a homely feel through handmade Venetian leather banquette and cosy booth seats, alongside vintage-inspired mirrors.

Newly appointed Chef de Cuisine Desmond Goh has done a brilliant job with locally-sourced ingredients, turning them into comfort food with an inventive twist.

5. Baileys Creme Caramel, $18

The Baileys Creme Caramel isn’t for the faint hearted. Topped with heady kahlua ice cream, Remy Martin cherry compote and cocoa rice crisps, the creme caramel is transformed into a textural wonderland. Sweet, crunchy and alcoholic.
