Meet The Disgruntled Brasserie, the younger sibling of casual fine dining establishment The Disgruntled Chef.

This new concept is decidedly relaxing, with a menu that encourages communal-style dining with small and large plates.

The setting too, evokes a homely feel through handmade Venetian leather banquette and cosy booth seats, alongside vintage-inspired mirrors.

Newly appointed Chef de Cuisine Desmond Goh has done a brilliant job with locally-sourced ingredients, turning them into comfort food with an inventive twist.

2. Foie Gras & Peanut Butter Miso, $18

The Foie Gras & Peanut Butter Miso is a grown-up take on your favourite peanut butter and jelly sandwich. In this dish, buttery foie gras is served on brioche and a thin layer of peanut butter miso. On the side, sweet blackberry gel serves to balance out the saltiness.
