1. Enjoy an Art Day Out
If you haven’t had enough of Gillman Barracks since their flagship Art After Dark x Singapore Art Week 2018 in January, you’ll be pleased to know that their daytime open house event, Art Day Out!, will be back this Saturday 17 March from 2pm to 7pm in conjunction with Singapore Design Week 2o18. Highlights include the launch of a specially commissioned new major outdoor artwork by Thai artist Kamin Lertchaiprasert and new public programmes by DISINI, Gillman Barracks’ inaugural visual art festival.
Visitors can also enjoy precinct-wide art activities and programmes like new exhibition openings, artist talks, F&B offerings, and guided docents tours by Friends of the Museum, making for a perfect leisurely Saturday.
