Keep your eyes peeled as we introduce you to the top 11 newly opened and must-try places in Singapore this month.
6. The Riverhouse
We call The Riverhouse a 3-in-1. Why? This is because The Riverhouse Singapore comprises of a modern Chinese restaurant – Mimi, an alfresco bar and lounge – Yin, and a stellar nightclub – Yang; providing non-stop dusk to dawn entertainment.
Mimi (秘密) is located at the second level of The Riverhouse where it was once headquarters to the notorious triad Ghee Hok Society. Yin is the relaxed sibling– an al-fresco bar by day, and lounge by night. Yin offers live performances and guests can unwind over cocktails and bar bites in the sprawling outdoor courtyard or the plush indoor enclave.
Yang, is the first International Club in Singapore. Yang attracts club-goers with its offering of crowd-pleasing dance music to keep clubbers on their feet while artistic and theatrical performers descend from the high ceiling. Yes, from high ceiling! Clubbers can also dance to a series of Asian hit songs that will be played in intervals throughout the night, from popular K-pop tunes to top Mandarin hits.
The Riverhouse is located at 3A River Valley Road, #01-02, Clarke Quay, Singapore 179020.
