There's a new luxury resort in town and it floats out to sea!

Introducing the latest Genting Dream, an inaugural cruise vessel from Genting Cruise Lines, that has since docked its nautical behind at Singapore's Marina Bay Cruise Centre. This also marks the first time Singapore is hosting a large-scale cruise ship for an extended period and the first homeport for Dream Cruises in Southeast Asia.

It is easy to see why Genting Dream is dubbed a luxurious floating integrated resort.

Heading to idyllic Southeast Asian venues such as North Bali, Surabaya, Koh Samui, Bangkok, Sihanoukville and Phuket, the massive vessel provides a sanctuary for those who are aboard with 142 suites, complemented by European style butler service, 35 culinary concepts serving up diverse cuisine and state-of-the-art facilities such as a 999-seat Zodiac Theatre where dazzling spectaculars take place.

But the aforementioned features are just at the tip of the iceberg.

To better understand the extent of Genting Dream's opulence, here is a closer look at five main highlights onboard the cruise ship that'll send you packing.

5. Feast to your heart’s content

An extensive lineup of gastronomic treasures is yours to stuff yourself silly onboard the Genting Dream, where the buffet offerings from restaurants such as The Lido, Dream Dining Room Upper and Dream Dining Lower are all included in the cruise fare. If you’re hankering for something more refined, look to specialty outlets such as Umi Uma for teppanyaki fare and Bistro by Mark Best for western delights. Cravings for just the sweets? Then Breadbox and Gelateria will have you sorted with its decadent pastries and homemade gelato respectively.
