Sentosa has always been Singapore’s playground, but this summer, the island is transformed into something far more enchanting—a fairy-tale destination brought vividly to life.
From 24 June to 20 September 2026, Sentosa becomes “A Magical Island Adventure: Let’s Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line” —a first-of-its-kind, island-wide collaboration between Sentosa Development Corporation and Disney Cruise Line. Inspired by the Disney Adventure cruise ship’s seven themed worlds, this three-month takeover reimagines beaches, landmarks, and open spaces across the island into an immersive, living story from sunrise to well past sunset.
Even the journey begins before visitors arrive on Sentosa. From early July, the Sentosa Express monorail departs VivoCity fully dressed for the occasion, featuring Captain Mickey Mouse and Captain Minnie Mouse along its exterior—offering a moving preview of the magic ahead.
For those arriving by cable car, the Singapore Cable Car Sentosa Line joins the celebration too. All three stations—Sensoryscape, Imbiah Lookout, and Siloso Point—feature character installations, while cabins are wrapped in designs inspired by Toy Story Place and Disney Discovery Reef, turning the ride itself into part of the experience.
Seven Experiences, One Island
With an event passport in hand, visitors can chart their own journey across Sentosa, collecting medallion stamps at each stop. Each precinct draws inspiration from one of the Disney Adventure’s themed worlds, bringing the cruise experience ashore in unexpected and imaginative ways.
At Palawan Beach, the heart of the island-wide festivities, a six-metre inflatable installation flanked by sand sculptures of Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie sets the tone. Nearby, a San Fransokyo Street-themed zone brings *Big Hero 6* to life with a towering Baymax inflatable and relaxed beachfront seating. Further along the shore, oversized bath toys inspired by Toy Story Place—including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, Jessie, and Bullseye—anchor a playful splash zone, complete with a glowing 3.9-metre shower feature that lights up after dark. At The Palawan, Marvel Landing introduces installations inspired by Ironcycle Test Run and Groot Galaxy Spin, alongside an Infinity Bar concept that transforms into a neon-lit social space by night.
At Sensoryscape, the experience shifts into a Town Square-inspired promenade lined with 13 princess-themed hammock installations, each representing beloved Disney heroines such as Ariel, Belle, Mulan, Raya, and Snow White. Over 100 dynamic light effects gradually transform the space from warm twilight tones into a vibrant nighttime spectacle. A five-metre topiary shaped after the Disney Cruise Line logo completes the Disney Imagination Garden-inspired setting.
After Dark: Sentosa Like Never Before
As night falls, the island reveals one of its most anticipated transformations.
For the first time, the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia is extending its opening hours to 10pm, debuting a dedicated night programme. Inspired by Disney Discovery Reef and Wayfinder Bay, the area becomes a glowing coastal dreamscape, where illuminated manta rays drift across the waters and shifting oceanic hues wash over the surroundings. Elements from *Finding Nemo*, *The Little Mermaid*, and *Lilo & Stitch* come alive within the setting, while wayfinding motifs inspired by *Moana* guide visitors through star-lit pathways.
A separate night ticket unlocks the full experience, including a complimentary activity card for collecting four embossed stamps and a limited-edition Disney Adventure-themed postcard.
Take a Piece of the Magic Home
Beyond the installations, a specially curated summer merchandise collection—created in collaboration with Disney Cruise Line—extends the experience beyond the island. The range includes Sentosa-exclusive items such as a themed tumbler, eco bag, towel, and keychain, each designed with sun, sand, and sea-inspired motifs. UOB cardholders who spend a minimum of S$60 can also receive a glow-in-the-dark blind-pack medallion pin, a collectible designed for fans and collectors alike.
A New Annual Chapter for Sentosa
This summer activation is designed to evolve throughout its run, with select installations refreshed and new elements introduced across the three months. More than a seasonal event, it marks the beginning of a new annual chapter for Sentosa—one where the island continues to reimagine itself as a stage for immersive storytelling.
