4. If Walls Could Speak at ION Art Gallery
If Walls Could Speak will take place at ION Art Gallery from 1 – 11 Feb 2020. The exhibition presents visitors with an opportunity to catch Indonesian master artist Kartika Affandi in action as she creates two artworks on-site that will be inspired by her visit to Singapore. The exhibition will also have a curatorial focus on works from the Yogyakarta region – a city in the Indonesian island of Java known for its arts and culture – by master artists Kartika and Budi Ubrux. Works from leading and upcoming Indian and Singaporean artists such as Shan Re, Rudra Gaud, Abhijit Paul, alongside ASEAN Art Award winner Ekta Chandra will also be featured.
