The Burmese love their tea, and the number of tea stalls littered on the streets of Yangon will testify to that claim! Ask a local how they would like their tea and their reply will most likely be tea leaf salad! The tea leaf salad or Lahpet Thoke, dubbed the national dish of Myamar, is actually a simple dish of pickled tea leaves tossed with several seasonings that locals love!
