1. Jianbing (Chinese Crepes)
Arguably one of China’s most popular breakfast items, the jian bing is a common street snack easily found at street corners, subway stations and tourist attractions. The flavours vary from city to city, but ingredients tend to be the same — the dough is made of wheat and grain flour, then fried on a griddle. You’ll find fillings ranging from scallions to lettuce.
