2. Eat Duck

Sometimes it takes the shared pain of a loss to bring people together. In this new play presented by local theatre company Checkpoint Theatre and written by Zenda Tan, it takes Grandma’s passing to draw the extended family closer together and confront the conflicts they have with one another. As they hold a seven-day wake at the void deck for Grandma, the family members start to rethink how they process loss, grief, love and kinship.
