Perfect for fans of old architecture, Vigan City is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage City for it’s well-preserved Spanish colonial town. Take a stroll or a kalesa (horse-drawn carriage) ride along the cobblestone streets of Calle Crisologo, where the architecture all around illustrates the one-of-a-kind fusion of European and Asian cultures since the 16th century. The food there is both delicious and affordable. A short distance away in the adjacent town of Bantay lies the famous red-bricked Bantay Church with a bell tower you can climb.
