Whether you’re a business traveller yearning for convenience or on a family trip with young children, staying in a central area of an unfamiliar city is quite often the best option.

Located in Sentral, the new business district of Kuala Lumpur, the Aloft KLS is right next to the metro rail and nearby attractions include the National Museum, Bird Park and Little India of Kuala Lumpur. It is also a short ride to the touristy Bukit Bintang area.
Simple Yet Playful Rooms
The rooms at Aloft KLS are simple yet playful with pieces of humorous art illustrating Malaysian customs hanging above the soft foamy bed. The rooms also have a work desk, a flat screen television and ironing board.
The toilets have no bathtubs but are fully furnished with amenities such as toothbrushes, cotton wool, bathrobes… You get the picture.
What surprised me on my last trip was the quality of the hotel shampoo and soap. Aloft has special Bliss all-in-one shampoo and soap in the shower dispensers. My hair has never been softer from hotel shampoo!
Eat Me, Drink Me
The fridge is empty, without a mini-bar, allowing you to store your own items. If you’re feeling peckish, there is a Re:fuel station available throughout the day where you can grab items from instant noodles to muesli and yoghurt. The items are chargeable to the room, of course.
If you’re looking for a spot of partying, head up to the 30th floor where MAI Bar resides, with the infinity pool. The thumping beats and cocktails will set the mood for some poolside clubbing!
On the whole, we were pretty pleased with our experience.
