Where: Konya, Turkey
When: 7 – 17 December 2017
The festival is most prominent in Konya but is widespread in Turkey. Based on the teachings and practices of the 13th-century poet Rumi, this 10-day festival will expose you to the power of devotion. Shows usually start at 7pm and would last for 1.5 hours. During the shows, men would dress in white robes and tall hats – a traditional outfit, and spin in circles. The festival is free for all.
