4. Sokcho

The little coastal town of Seokcho in Gangwon Province is a popular tourist destination, conveniently located 2.5 hours outside of Seoul by bus, and is a great place to take your Korean adventure if you’re looking for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.

If you love the sun, you must spend a day on the white sands and cool waters of Sokcho Beach, and don’t forget to give one of the many seaside restaurants a try while you’re at it. Other must-visit attractions include Seoraksan National Park, Cheoksan Hot Springs and Ulsanbalwi Rock.
