5. Wonderfruit Festival, Bangkok, Thailand

When: 14-17 Dec

A massive four-day event held in the plantation fields of Thailand, the annual Wonderfruit Festival brings together immersive experiences such as music, family fun, farm-to- table feasts, talks, workshops and wellness activities.

Activities include rice-wine tasting with young Thai farmers, yoga, Capoeira for kids, a photography walk and international acts across all days.

Travellers who’d like to attend every day of the festival can book glamping tents at the restricted-access Boutique Camping site, which comes with its own dedicated entrance and car park.

Wonderfruit is located at The Fields at Siam Country Club in Pattaya. The event organisers provide shuttle services from Pattaya city centre and back.

If you’re coming from Bangkok, shuttle buses regularly depart from the Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekkamai), Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit) and Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai).

The four-day early bird bundle is still available for 4,200 baht (about $170).
