3. The most dangerous road in the world
Often considered the most perilous road in the world, the 65km-long “Death Road” in Bolivia has stricken fear, awe and a thirst for adrenaline in extreme thrill-seekers.
Among its infamous features are crumbling 600m drops, sharp hairpin bends and cross markings on spots where vehicles have fallen, due to a lack of guard rails along the winding paths.
