3. Visit the Palace of Fine Arts
Serving as a nod to San Francisco’s past and the symbol for the city’s creative spirit— one can’t miss visiting the Palace of Fine Arts. Providing a dreamy backdrop of beaux-arts architecture, the Palace is the only remaining structure from 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition, it sits on a neighbourhood park with lawns to picnic on, and fronted by a peaceful lagoon populated with fish, birds and turtles.
