Upside Motion offers three dance-inspired fitness programmes: Pilates, Xtend Barre and Aerial classes.

The most interesting of the three is the AntiGravity Aerial, which is a hybrid yoga class that combines the benefits of traditional yoga, pilates and acrobatics.

You’ll be cradled in a sheer but strong fabric suspended from the ceiling, which supports your weight and protects your joints while you stretch, strengthen and tone in a series of exercises led by an instructor.

As students advance in their practice, they’ll be able to execute choreographed moves on the aerial fabric to music and perform a short routine as well.
