From its humble beginnings at Bukit Timah, the NTU Alumni Club now occupies a tranquil and scenic site on the hillcrest of One-North Park
Situated next to Biopolis, a stone’s throw away from Buona Vista MRT, the NTU Alumni Club offers a sanctuary for people to unwind and be rejuvenated while enjoying the view of the surrounding lush greenery.
Plentiful facilities
The NTU Alumni Club spans nine stories, with various amenities for both you and your child’s recreational needs.
Work up a sweat at the gymnasium, or make use of the sauna, steam bath, spa, aerobics studio, a swimming pool and tennis courts for a workout, while your child has a splashing good time at the kiddy water adventure park.
There is also a Chinese restaurant and a Western restaurant to suit whichever preference you have. For the more sedentary, there are also reading and TV rooms, a mahjong room, jackpot and lounge, to while the afternoon away.
Tie-ups with five other clubs
The NTU Alumni Club has another smaller clubhouse at Killiney Road, and has made three affiliate arrangements with the Hollandse Club at Camden Park, Changi Golf Club at Netheravon Road and SouthLinks Country Club in Batam, Indonesia, so that NTU Alumni Club members can enjoy even more facilities.
NTU Alumni Club members only pay member rates to dine at or participate in activities in the three above-mentioned clubs, and can book the Hollandse Club’s and SouthLinks’ hotel rooms at guest rates. This is truly great value-added service and amenities.
Golfing enthusiasts can play golf at Changi and SouthLinks at guest rates during weekdays, as well as pay special rates to golf at Orchid Country Club and Jurong Country Club.
Networking opportunities
What is an alumni club without networking opportunities? The NTU Alumni Club’s recent reciprocal tie-ups with the University Club of Western Australia, Perth (Australia), Graduate House, Melbourne (Australia), University Club of Montreal (Canada) and University Club of San Francisco (USA) allow for great networking opportunities.
Other Privileges
Besides the serene picturesque environment, a full range of facilities, networking opportunities, access to five other clubs and special golfing rates, NTU Alumni Club members can also enjoy complimentary car parking at One-North, and potential investment returns on their membership.
Furthermore, it caters to its members’ children’s educational and growing needs through Agape, the little Uni, and members’ spouses can enjoy membership privileges as well.
All university graduates and qualified teachers are eligible for the $888 promotional deal for club membership. Those who sign up by Jun 15 will receive a $150 Kickstart Fitness programme and a $50 F&B voucher.
