5. Clean Your Stovetop

It’s a common occurrence for food residue to accumulate on your stovetop as you cook. You might spill some sauce, or a few stray scraps may fall out of your pan in the process of tossing or stirring. Naturally, this residue will burn when it comes into contact with your stove’s flame or coil. It can then scorch and stain the bottoms of your pots and pans. You can avoid this issue by taking the time to clean your stovetop thoroughly after each time you finish cooking. Simply wipe down your burners once you’re done and remove any burnt food residue you find sticking to their surfaces. This will also leave your stove primed and ready for your next session.
