The casual wear brand threw a bash celebrating its official opening in Singapore, to partygoers’ delight
With American Eagle Outfitters, it’s all about having a great time, and we must say that these folks really know how to throw a party, based on the media preview party announcing the official opening.
Though it’s been a few weeks since the boutique opened, party tips never go out of style. Here’s a sneak peek on how you can re-create your own jammin’ party.
1. Have booze, have a great time
No party is complete without booze and finger food so having a bottle of Desperados along with bite-size Krispy Kreme doughnuts were good ways to kick-start the evening. Even though we couldn’t have the classic Beer Pong party game to accompany the booze, AEO did a great job of replacing it with some great entertainment – foosball and ice air hockey.
Now what’s a party without taking some selfies? Throughout the night there were models dressed in trendy outfits carrying AEO props and taking selfies with the guests using a selfie stick so, of course, who could resist
a selfie?
2. Have a celeb guest… or ten
It was an absolutely star-studded evening with various notable fashion influencers and celebrities, together with members of the fashion, lifestyle and entertainment media who turned up in full force.
The hype around the Ah Boys to Men cast is not dying down and we definitely understand why. So it came as no surprise that two of the Ah Boys, Joshua Tan and Tosh Zhang, had been named as AEO Singapore ambassadors. With their vibrant and dynamic spirits, it was no wonder why these two actors were chosen.
Celebrities such as DJs Joakim Gomez and Tabitha Nauser, model Fiona Fussi, singer Jonathan Chua from the Sam Willows, and actors Keagan Kang and Paul Foster also graced the event.
3. Don’t cramp your style
Spanning 4,000 sq ft, the flagship boutique at Vivocity featured rugged and natural building material, like the wooden racks, which reflected the AEO concepts of “be yourself’ and “live freely”.
With the sprawling space, there was enough room for guests to walk and mingle instead of squeezing their way through the crowd, like in a club. Who can say ‘no’ to a party like that?
With such space, expect no less than an extensive selection of jeans. From cuts such as Slim Straight and Original Taper for men to Skinny and Boy Jean for women, the AEO Jeans line was definitely the star of the show.
Apart from jeans for the ladies, the range also features flirty dresses, fun crop tops and sandals while the men’s range features graphic tees and tanks with that beach boy vibe.
