The iPhones 8 get a splash of red
Apple has announced a red version of its iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, which will be available for pre-order online in selected countries (including Singapore) starting from 8.30pm today (April 4).
As with the iPhone 7 models last year, Apple is working with Product (RED), an non-profit organisation co-founded by U2’s Bono to fight AIDS, tuberculosis, and malaria. The red iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus will feature a black front panel, unlike the white panel found on the red iPhone 7 and 7 plus last year.
The new phones, available in 64GB and 256GB, are priced from $1148, and will be available in stores on Friday in countries such as Singapore, China, Japan, and the US.
