We’re loving the newest sneakers from the Kanye West collab
Sneakerheads, get your money ready for one of the most eagerly anticipated drops of a very stacked sneaker season – the new YEEZY BOOST 700 colourway! The latest addition to the adidas + Kanye West collaborative line is the YEEZY BOOST 700 “Inertia,” to hit stores worldwide on 9 March 2019.
The release comes not long after the Adidas YEEZY BOOST 500 “Salt” arrived (on 23 February), an ashy grey suede on top of an off-white midsole. We think the “Inertia” follow-up will please the Yeezy fans who are looking for a more vibrant colourway. It embraces the soft tones of “Salt”, but adds more colours – the sneakers are layered with dual-toned blue-grey suede and premium leather over mesh underlays. There’s even a burst of neon orange that adidas officially calls “coral” around the heel.
Here are the official images from adidas to give you a better look at the “Inertia” colourway from various angles:
As with all the other adidas Boost sneakers, the YEEZY BOOST 700 “Inertia” comes with the full-length Boost midsole. Besides being a super comfortable cushion for our feet, the Boost midsole adds that old-school chunky look that has been taking over the streetwear world in recent years.
When the shoes drop on 9 March (10am Singapore Time, to be exact), you can purchase them at S$450 online or at the adidas Originals store at Pacific Plaza. Authorised adidas retailers at Limited Edt (at Bayfront Avenue) and Pedder (at Scotts Square) will also carry the sneakers.
If the chunky design doesn’t do it for you, look out for the next release in the ever-popular sister series YEEZY BOOST 350 v2, which sports an elastic Primeknit upper and gum outsole. The YEEZY BOOST 350 v2 “Hyperspace” colourway (S$349), a pale blue hue, will be launched in Singapore on 16 March 2019.
We love both designs and can’t wait to add them to our sneaker collection!
