Available for the entire month of August starting from 1 August, the tea-time snack oozes even more local flavours free of preservatives and artificial colouring. Freshly squeezed pandan leaves bringing out that nostalgia aroma, while every bite is a burst of joy thanks to the thick and sweet gula melaka and a fresh luscious coconut middle layer. You’ll want to keep the box that comes with this cake, because it’s specially designed by local artist Lee Kow Fong, taking you back to the old days on the Singapore streets.
