So instead of falling prey to mind-numbing gadgets, why not put in a bit of activity into your sedentary lifestyle by lacing-up for these trails we have in Singapore? Aside from it being quite an intensive workout, trekking these trails also make for a fantastic activity to do together with your friends and family.

3. Chestnut Nature Park

Located on the Eastern side of Chestnut Avenue, Chestnut Nature Park is one of Singapore’s newest nature park after its opening in 2017. Made up by the North and the South Park, the two areas combine to form Singapore’s largest park at 81 hectares. While the Northern hiking trail lasts for 3.5km, the Southern loop is shorter at just 2.1km. For those who frequent Bukit Timah Nature Reserve countless of times,  the trails at Chestnut makes for a nice change of scenery. To challenge yourself, we urge you to start via the Northern hiking trail and treak all the way to Zhenghua Nature Park.
