18. Punggol Waterway Park

Right smack in the middle of the Punggol heartland, this waterway park has gone on to be a favourite among Singaporeans, regardless of where they stay in the North East. The Punggol Waterway Park is one of the four parks linked by the North Eastern Riverine Loop. With its long pathways, the park has seen an increasing number of people cycling and inline skating. If you make your way Eastward for about 2.1km, be greeted by the gentrified Lorong Halus Wetland that is now a blooming haven for biodiversity. The wetland is also home to the unobtrusive, elegantly designed Lorong Halus pedestrian bridge that lights up beautifully at night.
