‘Undersea’ fun for the family

“Imaginarium: Over the Ocean, Under the Sea” is an art exhibition for curious minds of all ages. It takes guests through the different mysteries and wonders of the ocean.

One of the highlights of the exhibit is “Underwater Labyrinth”, a colony of luminescent ‘corals’, composed of more than 1,300kg of sugar, chocolate and confectionery, re-created by Singaporean chef Janice Wong.

Children will also take delight in finding the octopus monster, Mogus — crocheted from yarn by Indonesian artist Mulyana — amid a colourful seabed, and bouncing a giant glowing sphere with charcoal studs to make art on the walls, ceiling and floor.

The exhibition will be held from May 14 to Aug 28 at Singapore Art Museum at 8Q.
