4. The Butterfly Block
Another unique public housing architecture in Queenstown. While SkyTerrace@Dawson was recently built, Block 168A Queensway, also known as “the Butterfly Block,” got its quirky curved design from all the way back in the 1970s! It was one of HDB’s earliest efforts at creating more innovative and eye-catching housing estates. The block has been repainted over the years, of course, and we love the current pastel green colour.
