Sultan Arts Village is a treasure trove of street art in the heart of Kampong Glam. Coffee lovers, you don’t want to miss Yip Yew Chong’s tribute to our city’s history of coffee brewing. At the request of A.R.C. café just around the corner, the local artist has painted our historic district a beautiful rustic brown, with coffee beans and large coffee cups. They look so vivid, we can just smell the aroma of freshly roasted coffee! Follow the development of Singapore’s “Coffee Story” from the old-school Teh Tarik man and Chinatown kopitiam, to the modern-day baristas and roastery machines. Play around with the three-dimensional paintings and amaze your friends with this scrumptious world of optical illusions!
